Children's Shows and Pantos

Designing for Kids shows and Pantomimes is actually a bit more challenging than you might think, as invariably it's a parent who is going to buy the ticket. So, a balance has to be struck between something which may visually appeal to the younger generations, but must also be accessible and interesting enough to catch the interest of a more senior generation. And when it's a local theatre company's panto, and there are no ex-Kids TV presenters' faces to feature alongside the previously unheard of double acts and comedy puppeteer, it can be even more of a challenge.  Shown below are just a few examples of some of the designs I've put together in these areas over the past few years.
