Theatre Posters – Musicals

Five, Six, Seven, Eight... I've always been a bit of a musical nut, ever since seeing the original production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Palace Theatre, London on the same day that Leeds United lost to Sunderland in the F.A. Cup Final. And then, in working in theatre, I've also managed to wangle my way onstage and knock out a few tunes in several musical-theatre productions... I even briefly appeared in a national tour of Evita, but for some reason they wouldn't let me sing a note. I never did understand why not...

Below are just a few posters I've designed for some musical theatre productions.  Even Sir Cameron Mackintosh was impressed by the logo for "Titanic The Musical" - I've got the letter to prove it. And I was very honoured when Phil Willmott, the writer of "Once Upon A Time At The Adelphi", selected my Art-Deco-style design to be used as the cover of Samuel French's first printing of the official libretto.
