Miscellaneous Designs...
Sometimes you do a job, the client is delighted, pays you, and you never see or hear from them again...
Most of the design work featured below - apart from the leaflets for Port Sunlight's Gladstone Theatre - followed that pattern. Individual contracts that promised to lead on to greater things, and yet these turned out to be the last work I did for these particular clients. Who knows why?... Some you win...
Further down the page, you'll also find some designs that – for one reason or another – were rejected by the client. Some of these were subsequently re-designed... several times!
Uncommissioned Designs...
"Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug", sang the great Mark Knopfler. And with a couple of the designs below, I felt a bit like the latter when - for one reason or another - they were rejected by the client. However, nothing is ever completely discarded, and one person's poison is another person's meat (or vegan diet, these days)... So one or two of them may yet resurface in another format at a later date...
